Hi, I’m Sarah, a mixed media artist and counsellor based in Penticton, British Columbia on the traditional, unceded territory of the Syilx Okanagan people.
Not so long ago, I heard grief expert David Kessler say that it’s important for us to “realize the enormity of what we’re living through” in this pandemic. This is what staying home project is all about. These little collaged mixed media covid houses are designed to help us do just that.
To acknowledge the pain, the loss, and also the ways we’ve grown.
